Terms of Service

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Minimum Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Ebate. Users under 13 will be blocked from registering. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older.

Minor User Environment (Ages 13–17)

Users aged 13–17 are classified as minors and are placed in a fully separated, protected environment. Minor users can only see debates, content, and other users within the minor environment. They cannot view adult (18+) content, debates, or profiles, and adult users cannot view minor content or profiles. This separation is enforced at every level of the platform.

Age Accuracy

By creating an account, you confirm that the age and date of birth you provide are accurate and truthful. Misrepresenting your age to gain access to age-restricted content is a serious violation of these terms and may result in immediate, permanent account suspension.

User-Generated Content

Ebate is a platform for debate and discussion. We are not responsible for any content created, posted, or shared by users. All opinions, statements, and arguments expressed in debates are solely those of the individual users and do not reflect the views of Ebate.

Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of any content you post on Ebate. By posting content, you grant Ebate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

Account Suspension

Ebate reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate our Community Guidelines or these Terms of Service. Suspended users will not be able to post, create debates, or interact with content. Decisions on suspensions are at Ebate's sole discretion.

Service Availability

The Ebate service is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access to the platform. We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service outages or downtime.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from your use of Ebate are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By using this platform, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of US courts for any legal matters.
